The Blizzak LM-25 4×4 RFT is Bridgestone’s Performance Winter/Snow Run-Flat tire designed to provide temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility in case a puncture allows complete air loss. Developed for the Toyota RAV4, Blizzak LM-25 4×4 RFT tires are designed to allow drivers to maintain their vehicle’s sporty appearance while providing wintertime traction on cold, dry, wet and snow-covered roads.

The Blizzak LM-25 4×4 RFT molds a high-silica content tread compound that remains pliable in cold temperatures to combine winter traction with run-flat durability. This compound is molded into a directional tread design featuring independent blocks and rounded shoulders that combine hydroplaning resistance on wet and slush-covered roads with enhanced handling in cold, dry conditions. Blizzak LM-25 4×4 RFT tires feature the Lamellen “edge effect” (multiple biting edges in the tread blocks to help grip snow) to enhance winter traction without resorting to traditional metal studs. The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to blend high-speed durability with uniform ride quality. The Blizzak LM-25 4×4 RFT’s structure has been specifically tuned for its intended vehicles and features Bridgestone Side Support Run-Flat technology reinforced sidewalls to support the vehicle after a puncture causes loss of air pressure.

Blizzak LM-25 4×4 RFT winter tires meet the industry’s severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

Install Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 4×4 RFT tires in sets of four only.

Due to the traction capabilities of the Blizzak LM-25 4×4 RFT, Bridgestone recommends using Blizzak LM-25 4×4 RFT tires only in sets of four to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance.

Though they cannot be labeled as run-flat tires, tires branded with MOExtended or MOE on their sidewalls offer run-flat-like characteristics by delivering limited temporary extended mobility after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure. Because MOExtended or MOE tires do not have the same speed and distance endurance of conventional run-flat tires, they should not be substituted in any situation where a conventional run-flat tire is required. 1. the blizzack is the best winter tire i have bought over 45 years of driving. i would recommend this tire to any one that lives where one gets ice and snow on the roads

  2. These are without question the best winter tires I have ever purchased. Great performance in deep snow, light snow, and on ice. Makes my X5 feel like it can go through just about anything. The handling on bare pavement and wet pavement in cold weather is incredible too. Surprisingly, the ride is fairly good for a run-flat. Not nearly as harsh as I was expecting. Last winter I made the mistake of buying a set of Pirelli Scorpian Ice and Snow tires for my X5. Their performance in snow was very disappointing. I’m very surprised that the Pirelli’s score so well in Tire Rack’s customer surveys. One other item worthy of noting: the Blizzaks for my X5 are crazy expensive! They are great tires and well worth the money, but they are also the most expensive tires I’ve ever purchased. Overall, I’m extremly pleased with these tires.
