The ContiTouringContact CV95 is Continental’s Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for use on sporty coupes and luxury performance sedans. The ContiTouringContact CV95 is designed to provide year-round traction, even in light snow.

The ContiTouringContact CV95 features a silica-enhanced tread compound that helps lower tire rolling resistance while improving cold weather traction. This compound is molded into a symmetric tread design that provides for the ability to rotate tires to maximize tread life. The tread pattern is also computer-optimized to reduce noise and heavily siped to provide the additional biting edges necessary to enhance traction in light snow. The tire’s internal structure features twin steel belts combined with a spirally wound jointless nylon reinforcement to blend high-speed durability with ride uniformity. The ContiTouringContact CV95 also features weight-optimized construction to reduce weight and rolling resistance.

*Specific sizes featuring Economy Plus technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire’s Specs tab.

  1. Good tire for dry conditions. Very quiet tire. However, I have experienced significant hydroplaning in light rain conditions which makes me extra cautious/nervous when driving in wet conditions. Winter traction (accelerating, braking, steering control) is terrible and car slides all over the road in light snow conditions. Despite having substantial tread life remaining, I am disposing of these tires. It’s a disappointment that these are the manufactures tires of choice on a new luxury vehicle; the manufacture puts substantial effort in the design and quality of BMW autombiles, which is diminished by sub-par tires.
